Dear poster presenters,

Here we would like to share with you specifications for poster preparation – shared in the template’s placeholder textboxes. We would like to encourage the use of the shared Microsoft PowerPoint template where you can easily add your content (title, text, graphs, pictures, etc.) and logo before printing. Posters can be printed in A0, as well as in A1 portrait format (rescaled to 70.6 %): LINK

In case you prefer to use your own poster format, we request that you add the WMF 2018 logo in the upper right corner of your poster. Please find the logo here (PNG format): LINK

Poster printing:
In case you don't have access to printing facilities, you can opt to print your poster in Bishkek. In order to do so, please send us your poster in a PPT or PDF format no later than Friday, October 12, 2018 @

To all poster presenters:
Please let us know ( the size (A1, A0) and format (portrait, landscape) of your poster so we can plan space accordingly.

August 10, 2018, Bishkek. Chaired by the First Deputy Head of the Apparatus of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Shamil Asymbekov, the first meeting of the Organizing Committee for the upcoming World Mountain Forum 2018 (WMF2018) took place in the Government Office.  The Organizing Committee was established by order of the Kyrgyz Government on June 4, 2018 in order to successfully prepare and conduct an important international event, co-organized by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the University of Central Asia and scheduled for October 23-26, 2018.
